Entry 2- Ideas

After listening about what a film noir is and after we watched some examples, here are some of the ideas that I came up with.

1. A person is getting killed in an alphabetical order each week. One detective is trying to figure out who the murderer is with the help of his co-assistant. One day the co-assistant gets "killed". The murder still continues. After the detective gathers enough evidence to find out who's going to get killed next, he waits at the victim's place. The murderer walks up behind the victim and is about to kill them. The murder turns out to be his co-assistant. The detective tries to deny the truth, cause there is no way that could happen as his co-assistant is dead. (Some flashbacks of evidence that the co-assistant could have been alive) The co-assistant explains his reason on killing (haven't thought of). The co-assistant shoots the detective. The detective lies down on the floor. The co-assistant turns around and the detective shoots and kills him. The victim calls cops.

2. A starting journalist is trying to figure out a murder in town. He goes to the bar where the murder occurred and meets a lady, who could be a femme fatale. The lady says, "oh hello" glancing at the camera and then hello looking at the journalist. (Story plot unchosen here) The murderer turned out to be the person with the perspective (Camera guy) and the lady was being "manipulated/threatened" by the camera guy to make the journalist give up on trying to find the murderer. The camera guy murdered the person because the murdered person was making moves on the lady. The camera guy "likes" the lady.

3. The girl has been acting all suspicious throughout the whole sequence, i.e flirting with other guys and heavily flirting with main dude. A murder occurs in the town. The audience would think that she's the femme fatale and that she killed the person. However, it turns out that she's actually an investigator who's been spying on the dude for months because he's the actual killer.
