Entry 7 - Story Draft 2

We decided to change up our story after Mr Andrews gave us some tips. 

Basic Story Outline:

The femme fatale has a dirty secret, and that dirty secret is her killing all her previous husbands for money. Her current husband, the Split Personality's brother, accidentally finds out about the dirty secret and plans to tell the police soon. The femme fatale notices this and tries to get rid of the husband ASAP. That night, femme fatale meets Split personality at the bar and the split is immediately infatuated with the femme fatale. The femme fatale talks about how her husband is all rude to her and that he was cheating on her and convinces split personality to get rid of the husband so that they can run away together. (Femme fatale knows that the split personality has a multiple personality disorder.)

At an alley, the split personality meets up with the husband and kills him. The femme fatale comes out and just as when the split dude thought that he was going to get praised, she hits him over the head. This is because she thought that he might become a nuisance later with his split personality. Next day when the split personality wakes up, he is confused with his bloody hands as he is back to his normal personality. He doesn't remember killing anybody, so thus he blames the femme fatale.

When the interrogation starts, the nice side of the split personality talks about what he did yesterday. In the middle, he swaps his personality and continues the story, but makes a minor detail error on what he said before. The police points that out and he apologises, saying that he's just nervous because of the pressure that he's getting from the police officer.

Chronological Film Plot:

• Femme fatale’s husband finds out her secret that she has killed her previous husbands.
• Femme fatale confides in Jack on his evil side and convinces him to kill her husband so that they can live happily ever after.
• Femme fatale and husband make an arranged time to meet in back alley
• Femme fatale tells Jack about meeting and they decide that this is when Jack will kill the husband
• At back alley Jack turns up with femme fatale behind him acting scared and innocent. Husband will already be there.
• Jack kills husband with knife.
• Jack turns leaves back alley to meet with Femme fatale but when they meet she whips out bat from coat and without hesitation, she hits Jack on the head aiming to kill him.
• Next day Jack wakes up confused and dazed in a back alley, doesn’t remember anything that has happened the previous day. He is now back to normal side of his split personality.
• The police are standing over Jack who is lying down (film powerful and weak shot/ low to high angle)
• They immediately ask him questions but he can not hear properly and all sound if muffled. He has blood on his hands.
• The police arrest him but as he stands up the wrapped up murder weapon falls out of his jacket pocket.
• Down at the police station, interrogation is started.

Weird bits:

Our story plot is obviously not finished yet. We still don't have an ending.

Weird bit number 1. How does the femme fatale know about Jack's multiple personality disorder? Didn't she just meet at the bar? I think that the femme fatale should realise that Jack has a multiple personality disorder from the occasional change in personality after a loud sound (?) I'm not really sure, the whole multiple personality disorder is a bit hard.

Why wouldn't the femme fatale just try and kill Jack? Right now, our group is planning to use a bat as a weapon for femme fatale, but I reckon a brick is better. A bat is just going to cause a minor faint out at best, it's not guaranteed to get rid of one's memory. Therefore, if the femme fatale hit him in the end to get rid of the nuisance, why not use something harder?
