Entry 8 - Story Draft 3

We finished the basic story plot.

Chronological Film Plot:

• Femme fatale’s husband finds out her secret that she has killed her previous husbands for their money and profits.
• Femme fatale confides in Jack on his evil side and convinces him to kill her husband so that they can live happily ever after.
• Femme fatale and husband make an arranged time to meet in a specific place
• Femme fatale tells Jack about meeting and they decide that this is when Jack will kill the husband
• At back alley, Jack turns up instead of femme fatale.
• Husband is confused and asks where femme fatale is
• Jack kills husband with a knife.
• Jack turns leaves back alley to meet with Femme fatale in another back alley
• When they meet she whips out a bat from the coat and without hesitation, she hits Jack on the head aiming to kill him.
• Next day Jack wakes up confused and dazed still in the back alley, not remembering anything that has happened the previous day. (He is now back to the normal side of his split personality.)
• The police are standing over Jack who is lying down (film powerful and weak shot/ low to high angle)
• They say that they’ve got a call about a suspicious person lying in the back alley.
• Police immediately ask him questions but he can not hear properly and all sound if muffled. He has blood on his hands.
• The police arrest him but as he stands up the wrapped up murder weapon (knife) falls out of his jacket pocket.
• Down at the police station, interrogation is started.
• Tells the police officer that he did not do anything wrong, he can't remember what happened all he remembers is going to bed at his apartment.
• (Flashbacks start of all he can remember)
• Police officer starts to get very angry yelling/screaming at Jack
• Jack's’ other side of his personality appears (bad side) starts getting defensive, makes a slip in the story where he said the wrong thing and the police officer noticed. (The real flashback of what happened-slips in story)
• Jack plays it off coolly but police is still suspicious
• Police leaves the room to question the femme fatale
• Police officer questions the wife of dead guy (femme fatale) she's ‘terribly upset’ but is completely guilty
• She tells her story telling the officer that her husband had been going out more and that she thought he was seeing another woman or on the lines of that.
• Police officer ‘falls’ for her gorgeous beauty and can't help but not believe her story
• Police officer concludes that jack is guilty and handcuffs him on the way to the jail cell jack screams and yells at femme fatale accusing her of double-crossing him and he thought they were in love and they would both be together forever.
• At the very end when the police is staging jack away. Jack hears ringing in his ears and vision blurs and he becomes himself again and asks the officer calmly, “What's going on?” (This reveals to the audience that he does, in fact, have a split personality)
• Very end the femme fatale gets away with her money and crime and Jack gets in prisoned not only physically but also mentally (imprisoned within himself)

What needs to be done:

We need to actually plan out our flashbacks now. What is the audience going to see and not see. Are they going to trace the evidence together to find the murderer?

We also need to plan out where we could film. I can't film at home, because my dad is over. That means that we would have to film at school. For the back alley, we could use the place in front of the media room.
