Entry 9 - Final Story Plot

We decided to abandon the multiple personality disorder as it would make the film too complicated. Instead of making Jack split personality, we're just going to make him have amnesia. We also added all the flashback scenes. We decided that there would be a trigger for Jack to get back his memories instead of them just randomly popping into his mind.

Character:

Femme Fatale - Debbie

The Femme Fatale manipulates Jack to kill her husband.

Killed her previous husbands.

Femme Fatale Husband (Dead/Victim) Bandrews

He gets killed because he found out about Debbie’s past murders.

Amnesia - Jack

Gets memory loss after getting hit by an object

Killed Debbie’s husband.

Investigator/Police

Solves the crime ???

Investigates on the murder

Gets seduced by Debbie

Doesn’t really solve the crime

Chronological Film Plot:

• Femme Fatale's husband finds out her secret that she has killed her previous husbands for their money and profits.
• Femme fatale confides in Jack on his evil side and convinces him to kill her husband so that they can live happily ever after.
• Femme fatale and husband make an arranged time to meet in a specific place
• Femme fatale tells Jack about meeting and they decide that this is when Jack will kill the husband
• At back alley, Jack turns up instead of femme fatale. Husband is confused and asks where femme fatale is.
• Jack kills husband with a knife.
• Jack turns leaves back alley to meet with Femme fatale in another back alley
• When they meet she whips out a bat from the coat and without hesitation, she hits Jack on the head aiming to kill him.
• Next day Jack wakes up confused and dazed still in the back alley, not remembering anything that has happened the previous day. (Memory Loss)
• The police are standing over Jack who is lying down (film powerful and weak shot/ low to high angle)
• They say that they’ve got a call about a suspicious person lying in the back alley.
• Police immediately ask him questions but he can not hear properly and all sound if muffled. He has blood on his hands.
• The police arrest him but as he stands up the wrapped up murder weapon (knife) falls out of his jacket pocket.
• Down at the police station, interrogation is started.
• Tells the police officer that he did not do anything wrong, he can't remember what happened all he remembers is going to bed at his apartment.
• (Flashbacks start of all he can remember. Voiceover Narrative)
• Police officer starts to get very angry yelling/screaming at Jack
• Police officer is ready to or lits a cigarette
• Jack sees it and has a memory trigger of Femme fatale lighting up a cigarette at a bar (face not shown, just curls)
• He gets confused and tells police officer that he also seem to have seen a really beautiful woman last night and feels some sort of attraction
• Police gets interested and tells him to go on while finger tapping the table  
• He remembers a woman (femme fatale) tapping her fingers on the table at the bar frustrated
• The police officer then brings up a glass of water
• Hears sound of ice rattle and gets another trigger
• Femme Fatale
• Femme Fatale is set free and walks down the hallway and meets Jack while he is getting sent to the jail room
• Police says sorry for your loss and thank you for your cooperation
• Seeing Femme Fatale’s face triggers all the memory
• Sees the full face of every triggered memory and lastly sees the part where she says Thank you for killing him and then slamming him in the head with a bat
• On the way to the jail cell, jack screams and yells at femme fatale accusing her of double-crossing him and he thought they were in love and they would both be together forever.
• Jack gets all his memories back and screams why did you betray me to femme fatale but femme fatale acts as if he doesn’t know
• He is throwing a tantrum as the police carries him away
• Very end the femme fatale gets away with her money and crime and Jack gets in prisoned not only physically but also mentally (imprisoned within himself)

On how the husband finds out about the wife's secrets, we decided to make it so that the femme fatale keeps a record of all her previous murders in a box. I.e, She would have an envelope with a wedding ring, certificate, insurance claim and marriage certificate. There would be lots of these in a box. The box however, will be tied in a cross ribbon wrapping way. However, when the husband opens it and finds it and puts it back, he only wraps the ribbon around once.
