Entry 10 - Flower and Inspiration
Okay, so we thought of this really cool idea where the uncle drops a white flower on the dad's graveyard, symbolising purity and ignorance.
The same exact flower is then shown next to the aunt when she's cooking her soup (First focused on the flower and then aunt).
After that, when the aunt dies, the flower slowly turns red (Because we can't show blood on Aunt).
The flower is then later seen when the uncle drops it onto his graveyard.
I think that this would be a really cool idea to show in our film as an ongoing aesthetic feature. It also symbolises that the uncle is always with Red. This idea was also inspired by Tokyo Ghoul, where the white rose blooms into a deep red Lyrcoris Radiata after he is tortured.
Edit: Another team is using flowers for their film as well :) They put it on their Instagram, and I don't want to use this idea just in case the other team might think that we copied their idea.
Edit Edit: They said that it was alright for us to use the flowers :)

What the attic and bed scene could look like. Similar atmosphere.

I also found some cool images that we could use a a inspiration to what our film style could be like.
