Entry 5 - Other Developments

We decided to scrape the investigation room idea. I don't remember why, but we did. Instead, we're going to make it so that the parents were killed by Grandma and there's this grave digger who turns out to be her dead uncle that helps her to take revenge on Grandma. We're also taking out the huntsmen from the story. If we're desperate, we can include him as one of the police officers that visits her at the start of the film, to ask about her parents death.

For the bad wolf idea, we're planning to make the uncle have a tattoo of a wolf on his hand.

Here's another rough narrative convention:

We further developed the idea the next day with Sarah by adding plot devices that would enhance our whole story line. Since we needed a reason why the uncle would suddenly appear, we decided so that he would also be a victim to one of grandma's past crimes. To show this, we'd put his photo with the dad as a clue. However, we're planning to not show the photo until the very end as a plot twist. Other than that, everything is pretty self-explanatory.

We also changed the scene where she goes to the wood as the grave digger being the uncle. This is because we didn't really have time to go to the woods. The school one was okay, but we for some reason decided against it, saying that the graveyard would be better.
