Entry 20 - Final

Today I filmed the Uncle's graveyard and the flower scene while the rest of my group filmed the photo book scene.

For the flower scene, I simply put some red food colouring dye into a spray bottle and sprayed it onto the flower. I know we're not supposed to have blood in our film, but it's not directly on the person, so I don't think it's going to be M rated. For the lighting, I simply held my flashlight towards the flower to create a harsh shadow on the background. It was hard holding the flashlight while trying to shoot.

For the graveyard scene, I had 3 shots; Long, medium and "close-up". There's no special meaning behind the shots. The long shot is a shot to represent the uncle's loneliness. The medium shot and the close up shot is just a preference choice.

I had to reshoot all these shots a couple of times because cars kept on passing by or I wasn't in the right position.

I also reshot the scene where I walked away and dropped a picture. This was done in a long shot to show the scenery afterwards.

That's the end of our filming.
