Entry 14 - Jane Scene 1
This lesson, I finally started working on my animation.
I faced a lot of difficulties while filming this, as the movement Jane had was limited. Whenever I moved it a little bit, the torso would fall off. The best part is that my body is in the whole time, cause I gave up halfway through on only showing Jane. The distance between the computer and Jane also was a pain when I wanted close up shots.
Anyways, I started off with a Large widescreen. This scene is where the lover burns Jane because she isn't need anymore. (Before story change) I didn't really know how green screen worked, so I was planning to do them all in photoshop. This meant that I had to use photoshop and individually add fire unless I can find a another way. I really didn't want to do everything individually. I knew that we had the recording button, but it would still be a pain.
The shooting itself was pretty simple, if you took out all the cons. I just had to press the spacebar and move Jane a little by little. I wanted Jane to start off as a happy girl, so I moved her so that she danced a little and then moved into the camera to kiss the camera, which is from the traitor man's POV.
I wanted the girl to fall down as she burnt in fire, but I obviously couldn't do that, as the dress was rock solid. I had to elaborate and move the camera towards her head, as if the fire was eating her.
That's all that I did this lesson.
