Entry 21 - Scene 4,5 & 6

Scene 4:

This scene was actually quite complicated as I implemented a lot of camera angles.

For the first 1 sec, I made it so that the hands that they were holding in Scene 3 were released to symbolise that they were not going to run anymore. I took a photo every time I moved the arms. After that, I made them move in closer together.  I took a photo every time I moved them towards each other.

I then changed the camera angle so that it was a closer shot of them together, with Edward as the more main focus. I took some still shots to give that dramatic mood. I then moved the camera closer, and made Jane move in towards Edward's face.  I took a photo every time I moved her face. I once again changed the camera angle to show more of Jane's face then Edward's, to show that she is important in this part, and that she is the one that's actually making the move. I took a photo every time I moved her face. I changed the camera angle towards Edward this time, to show that he's not doing anything. I took some still shots. I then moved the camera to show both of their faces, close together. I took some still shots. This long dramatic moving of camera angle shots shows that this may lead to.......

The camera zooms out, and Jane plunges out of Edwards arms. Edward is clearly surprised as he steps backwards and looks at her. He then raises his arm, symoblising that he's trying to catch her. The camera moves to show a eye shot of Jane, but a mid shot of Edward with his outreached towards Jane. Jane's slightly sideways head position shows her vulnerability and her not wanting to deal with this moment. Edward lowers his arm and leaves the scene. Jane quickly turns her head towards Edward leaving, and the camera zooms into her face.  I took a photo every time I moved something.

This scene builds up the tension and the slightly complicated relationship of theirs.

Scene 5:

In this scene, Edward is shown to be taking off his mask. This later relates to the ending. Since the puppet can't move its arm to take the mask off. I made him bend downwards to not be shown and then get back up without a mask. This shows that he took off his mask when he bent down. The slight hand gesture at the start of the scene shows his frustration towards Jane rejecting him. The arm movement where he puts both of his arms up afterwards further emphasises his frustration. He then runs off.  I took a photo every time I moved something.

Overall, this scene shows his frustration towards Jane rejecting him, and him running away from his problems.

Scene 6:

In this scene, it's just a close up shot of him walking instead of running, showing that he has cooled down. The close up shot also builds up the tension that something is about to happen.  I took a photo every time I moved something.
