Entry 8 - Piano

I went on the internet to find a paper craft of a piano to make for the paint scene. I’m really excited about this scene, as in movies, rich english man are usually shown to be good at playing the piano. This also shows that the boy is trying to impress the girl. 

It took me a while to find a paper craft of a piano that I really wanted to do. All the other pianos were either a studio or a spinet, but I wanted a grand piano. After finding the one that I liked, I printed it out in black and white, as I thought that I could just colour it in, instead of wasting ink on 58 pages. 

The process of me creating the first layer of the piano took longer than I expected, and I had to question whether or not I wanted to continue this paper craft. I couldn’t just keep on making the paper craft for the whole term, so after a lesson, I gave up on it. 

I found another paper craft on the internet. This time, it was much simpler to create. It took me a while to print it out as an A3, cause the printer wasn’t working properly. In the end, I had to print it out as an A4, and then reprint it as an A3. 

When folding the lines of my paper craft, I used a ruler to make a clean fold, instead of a sloppy one so that it looks good on camera.
