Entry 18 - Scene 1 and 2
I started working on my scene taking.
I cut out 2 pairs of masks for my dolls and added them on with scotch tape. I then got two one block lego pieces to use as glass bottles and scotch taped them onto their hand.
I asked Mr. Powell if I could borrow his phone, but it apparently didn't want to connect this whole lesson, so I gave up on it.
On another day, I finally started working on the istopmotion.
I first laid out a green blanket on top of the couch and placed Edward on it. I placed the computer on a chair and slowly moved the computer inwards. I used the snap photo every 2 sec mode, so that I didn't have to press the spacebar every single time. After getting the position that I wanted. I stopped that mode. I manually moved one arm to his stomach, and took a photo every time I moved his arm a little bit. I did the same when I moved his other arm upwards as a sign of toast and when he moved his head sideways.
Creating a new file, I used Mr. Powell's phone as my camera. I first started off as an eye level shot, and then slowly panned to rightwards. I once again set up the take photo every 2 second mode.
That's all that I did.
The take photo every ( ) second mode is really helpful when I'm not changing anything but the angle of the camera or when I'm moving the camera.
